T-Mobile is the only U.S. wireless carrier to offer a 5G smartphone and today announced the availability of the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G. Available for purchase online or in stores starting April 14, the device will be half off when purchased with an eligible trade-in from any postpaid plan, including the Magenta MAX plan. Customers can also purchase the phone with 24 monthly bill credits on the company’s no-interest Equipment Installment Plan (EIP).
Other key features of the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G include a 6.7-inch QHD+ display with HDR certification and 120-Hz refresh rate, which can be lowered to a 1Hz refresh rate. Compared to the OnePlus 9 Pro, the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G is more responsive, thanks to a change in the piston used to access the in-display fingerprint sensor. This device also has excellent colour reproduction and optimum brightness levels.
The camera on the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G is similar to that on the OnePlus 9 Pro, but with better camera features. The rear camera is equipped with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX789 primary lens and an 8-megapixel OmniVision OV08A10 telephoto lens, which is capable of 3.3x optical zoom. The front camera, meanwhile, is limited to 1080p video recording, though the company is considering incorporating 4K recording capabilities. oneplus 10 pro 5g
As for the software, OnePlus has added some welcome additions to Android 10, such as improved universal dark mode, which is now compatible with more apps. It has also added fun dynamic wallpapers, which shift color tones depending on outdoor temperature. Overall, the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G is a great phone for the money. If you’re a fan of OnePlus and love photography, this phone is definitely worth a look.
